I love it!
I hate to remove make up, but with it, its super easy, very smooth and it give me a super sensation of hydration. It is also super economic because you don't have to use a lot of the product to remove all the make up even the mascara.
Don't hesitate, buy it
One of the best cleansers I've ever tried! Removes all the make-up (with just slight difficulties with my mascara). After using this, my skin doesn't feel as tight as with other cleansers.
Clean it Zero Cleansing Balm Nourishing
This cleansing balm takes off all of your make-up even if it’s waterproof. It hydrates my skin and it’s sensitive skin friendly.
I love this balm, it's a nice first cleansing step!
Melts well and removes makeup quickly
This is the best balm cleanser I’ve used so far! Glides on the skin and washes off all my makeup (even waterproof). Does not irritate my eyes and very easy to wash off. I follow this up with the low ph good morning gel cleanser from COSRX which makes my skin unbelievably soft!
I've had issues with my skin for decades. Especially in my teens, when there wasn't as much makeup nor many cleansers available, I usually was too sensitive to wear anything.
Even now, at 45yo, I often run into products that are raved about, but still have my dry, sensitive skin break out or worse, cause painful eczema and/or allergic dermatitis.
It took a few tries to find a great double cleanse ritual as well, but once I had the Zero balms at home I knew I was close to the Holy Grail! The yellow, hydrating little jar was it! So I got the big tub.
With the yellow Zero my skin isn't just perfectly clean, + no fallout from lashes even with waterproof mascara or awful raised reddish hot skin from very pigmented makeup (bc I don't need to rub), but it is also soft and not tight after cleaning.
I always moisturise after cleaning off makeup because I've used water to milkify the balm, and water is the devil for eczema skin. But while I do need a bit of hydration I don't need much compared to other balms. Not more than just my regular night routine that I also use without makeup that day, or a good hydrating spray - also from Korean Skincare- when it's still day.
I wish there was no perfume at all in these balms (very low on the ingredients list, but still in there), because that could potentially cause issues in the long run - doesn't have to, but is often a problematic ingredient - though so far I've not reacted to anything.
Based on several uses I'm really happy: I can say this is the best cleansing balm and cleansing product I've tried in, well my whole life. I rarely need step 2 of the double cleanse and only use Zero.
But it's handy to know that in those cases, with just the Cleanit Zero balm, I have less on my face than some people. Due to chronic illness I'm often at home and sleep a lot, so when inside I don't use sunscreen.
And while I have a full face of makeup when using it, I almost never apply foundation.
Having said that, I still use plenty. This is the list: smoothing primer/(sometimes BB cream and always:) undereye concealer/ spot & pigmentation concealer/ bronzer/ cream contour/ cream blush/ liquid or powder highlighter/eyeshadow or glitter topper/eyeliner/ mascara/ lipliner/lipstick/setting spray.
Obviously sunscreen+ foundation needs a true double cleanse, but still is still a giant pile of makeup that needs the good stuff. If and when I do use sunscreen and foundation both the Zero balms do not let you down, and the double cleanse step 2 always comes away with very little. Usually one of those spots that are harder to reach.
But I wanted to be clear about my use & circumstances to give a clear review.
I recommend Clean it Zero, particularly the yellow tub, for everyone with dry, sensitive or just dry, dehydrated skin.
